Future design usage
In other words, what is the design needed for and how is it planned to be used.
Existing materials
It is reasonable to find all the existing materials (e.g. logo file). If it is possible to send examples of the expected result, it is definitely worth doing that too.
Deadlines
You should definitely reserve enough time for even the smallest work. The designer does not fulfill urgent orders; rather it is necessary to wait for the right lunar cycle so that the final result would meet all the expectations :)
